Old House Museum Durban

The Old House Museum, St. Andrew's St., Durban

A reconstruction of a Durban settler homestead, this museum is well worth a visit, particularly for the valuable art works forming part of its collection. They include Baines's View from Mr Currie's Residence and several paintings by the artist Shrubsole of the Entrance to the Bay of Natal.  The Old House Museum is part of the Local History Museum, Old Court House, Durban, and the Maritime Museum on the Esplanade.
